Guns n Roses in Bangalore

Guns n Roses are finally coming to India!

What an impressive year this is turning out to be – David Guetta, Fatboy Slim, Opeth, Lamb of God, Kreator, Korn in September and now there is news of iconic Rock Band – Guns n’ Roses coming to India this December.

Steigen Lane 2011 -Information Science Dept Forum

Steigen Lane 2011 is a State Level Technical Symposium conducted annually by Dept of Info Science, Acharya Institute of Technology, Bangalore. Steigen Lane targets at the bringing new development in the field of Information Technology. Students from over 30 colleges in Karnataka are expected to participate in the event. YANTROTSAV-2011 Mechanical Forum

“YANTRA” means machine and the specialty of this is, they provide motion and hence positive energy to drive the world. The YANTROTSAV-2011 also has the same motive. This is no less than “Technovaganza” which will produce the same intensity of shear fruitful energy to drive us the future creators of the world ,i.e., “Engineers”.

The YANTROTSAV-2011 has events which are both technical and non-technical like paper presentation, hands on lathe, design of machine using a design software (solid edge, solid works), general quiz, treasure hunt, housie, movie making contact the coordinators given in the poster for further details.

Metallica Announce India Tour-2011

Los Angeles thrash metal pioneers Metallica will play two dates in India this October. Confirmed via the band’s website yesterday, the quartet will play F1 Rocks in Gurgaon and a date in Bangalore under the Sonisphere banner. The official announcement comes on the heels of bassist Rob Trujillo’s revelation that the band would play the country later this year. According to the announcement, tickets go on sale May 4.

October 30 – Sonisphere – Palace Grounds, Bangalore

Mechatronics Forum 2011 - Robo soccer

Mechatronics dept had put up with some new innovative events for the Mechatronics Forum 2011-Renaissance.The lazer gun show didn't give much positive response but the robo soccer was very much entertaining and everyone enjoyed it.The winners will be getting a prize money of 1000 rupees.

Habba Road Show 2011

Acharya Habba has been declared officialy.The programme started with the road show which took place on 9/3/2011 and 10/3/2011.Many students from almost all departments of Acharya Institutions took part in the opening ceremony.The road show started near from the appartments and reached to the front gate of Acharya.The show became more grand with the motorcyclists who took part in the show.
